What Smart Boundaries does
The app uses an on-device Android VPN service to apply DNS-based adult-domain filtering. When a supported domain is identified as adult content, its name resolution can be blocked. This can interrupt habitual visits and give you time to choose differently.
The VPN service is used as a technical mechanism for filtering on the device. That does not make UrgeHarbor a general-purpose privacy VPN, and it should not be described as one.

What DNS filtering cannot promise
Domain filtering works at the domain level. It may miss content hosted inside otherwise allowed websites, content served within some apps, or newly created and uncategorized sites. Device settings, DNS configurations and other VPN services may affect how filtering behaves.

Choose support beyond a block
Filtering does not resolve stress, habit patterns or emotional triggers on its own. Use it alongside guided urge support, check-ins and your personal plan if those tools are useful to you.

Start with a clear Android setup
Follow the in-app permission prompts and the Android setup guide. Pay attention to the actual protection status shown by your device. If access or filtering does not behave as expected, follow troubleshooting instead of assuming it is active.

Is this a VPN for anonymous browsing?
No. UrgeHarbor uses a local VPN mechanism for content filtering. This is not a claim of anonymity, traffic encryption or IP masking.
Does it block all explicit content in every app?
No. DNS-level filtering has coverage limits, particularly with content within multi-purpose services and apps.
Can I use another VPN at the same time?
Android generally supports one active VPN connection per user/profile at a time. Check your settings and your other VPN service if there is a conflict.
